- Alice Campbell
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking organisations to undertake delivery of the Youth Support and Development Program, a program which seeks to deliver programs and services to at-risk or vulnerable young people in South Australia. This program seeks to establish positive trajectories for at-risk and vulnerable young people towards more sustainable and enduring wellbeing by improving their participation in education, employment, training, volunteering and connection to positive social, cultural and/or community opportunities.
Within a number of localised regions across South Australia, Youth Support and Development providers will have responsibility for service delivery of the program, working collaboratively with other providers and supporting at-risk and vulnerable young people to achieve their goals for a safe and positive future.
Funding will target nine areas in South Australia of highest identified need. These include Barossa, Light and Lower North, Whyalla, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Murray Bridge, Port Pirie and suburbs within Northern, Southern and Western Adelaide. One Aboriginal service and one Multicultural service will also be funded within these regions.
An open Invitation to Supply will be released shortly on the SA Government’s Tenders and Contracts website.
